Do your downloadable e-books run on any computer?My e-books are designed to run on personal computers using the Windows operating system. They will not run on Mac/Apple systems. I'm an avid fan of Apple. In fact, I use both Mac and PC computers to create my e-books. However, the books themselves, once compiled, will only run on Windows. Do your CD-rom e-books run on any computer? Yes, the e-books available on CD-rom will run on either PC/windows systems or on Mac/Apple systems. However, the CD-roms will not auto start, or start running automatically, on a Mac computer. If you are using the CD-rom books on a Mac, you will need to start them manually by navigating through your computer directory to your CD-rom drive and activating it with your mouse and cursor. Do I need any special software to use your e-books? No. The e-books, whether they are downloads or on CD-rom, contain everything needed within themselves. You will not need to download or install any additional software. Why are some of your e-books only available on CD-rom? I'd rather download it so I can have it immediately.The average e-book is merely a PDF file of text. These take very little time to download. My e-books are different in that they are actually multi-media presentations. Depending on the title, my books contain color illustrations, music, animations and even movies in addition to text. Multi-media files are much larger and take longer to download than books that contain only text. Therefore, the books I have available for download are those that have text and illustrations. The CD-rom books have much more extensive media that would take too long to download. |
